VINYASA YOGA

What it is

These dynamic, creative and playful yoga classes will help you to connect with body and breath. This is not a fitness class - but a wonderful side effect of yoga is increased  strength, mobility, flexibility and balance. Expect a physically empowering sequence of poses which encourage focus through connecting movement with breath.  

We start with grounding and warming up, then work our way through a series of poses that level up our energy before taking it back to to a place of stillness -  savasana, conscious relaxation.
Your mat, your body, your time. Every cue is optional. It's not about the 'perfect' poses you see on Instagram by people who can put their legs behind their head. Just turn up, have some fun and see what starts to happen. Sometimes the best yoga starts to happen off the mats, when we find ourselves more in control of breath and body when it really matters.

about the teacher

Roxanne stumbled into yoga when she was only 14 and has found her way back to the mat at different points in her life. She completed her teacher training with the Spiralling Crow School of Yoga out of YogaVenue in 2021. "Yoga has helped me have a better relationship with my body, to stop treating it as an 'other'. Making time to play, to be creative with our bodies and focus on the breath seems very simple but does something radical."

Sundays 10:30 - 11:45 am 

wHAT DO I NEED?

All you need is a yoga mat. Blocks are great to have but optional. And if you forget your mat, the room is matted out so you can still practice. Wear whatever you feel comfortable to move in. Rock up in your PJs, use those leggings you’ve lived in when working from home or just throw on some shorts and a t-shirt.  We practice in bare feet so no socks or footwear needed.
